Christa is the proud owner of Ray Scuba Diving, and the driving force behind the shop’s family-first atmosphere. A certified diver herself, Christa discovered early on that scuba isn’t just a sport—it’s a way to bring people together, and she’s made it her mission to share that joy with others.

​

She loves the social side of diving—meeting new people, organizing unforgettable trips, and creating a place where everyone feels like they belong. Around the shop, she’s affectionately known as the “Dive Mom,” always ready with a smile, encouragement, or just the right snack.

​

Her goal? To build more than a dive shop—Christa is building a community where everyone feels like family the moment they walk in the door.​​​​​​​​​

James has been diving since the age of 10, and he’s already logged more experience than many adults! Now working toward his Junior Divemaster certification, James is passionate about helping others discover the magic of the underwater world.

​

He’s especially gifted at finding and identifying marine life, and loves pointing out hidden creatures that most divers swim right past. Whether he’s assisting with classes or just being an awesome dive buddy, James is known for his focus on safety, calm presence, and enthusiasm on every dive.

​

With a heart for adventure and a head for responsibility, James is quickly becoming one of the most trusted young leaders in the water.

Diver, Doctor, Adventurer Extraordinaire

Teresa lives for adventure—both above and below the surface! A passionate diver, she thrives on the mental precision of technical diving and the full-body thrill of spearfishing. For her, the ocean is more than a playground—it’s a powerful friend she deeply respects.

​

When she’s not underwater, you’ll find her embracing life’s challenges in other incredible ways: speed skating, swimming, or picking up new musical instruments just for fun. Oh—and did we mention she’s also a talented family doctor who delivers babies and still finds time to dive?

​

From saving lives to seeking the next adventure, Teresa brings heart, focus, and energy to everything she does. Say hi—she’s always ready to share a story or gear up for something new!

Instructor, Explorer, and Puffer Fish Enthusiast

I’ve been blowing bubbles underwater for over six years now and still can’t get enough! I’m a dual-certified Instructor with NAUI and PADI, and my favorite class to teach is Advanced Open Water—because who doesn’t love a little underwater adventure?

 

If I had an underwater spirit animal, it would hands-down be the Porcupine Puffer Fish—big eyes, bold attitude, and full of charm. And my dream dive destination? Cabo—every time.

 

When I’m not underwater, you’ll find me hiking, getting in a Peloton session, or deep into an ocean documentary binge. I’m all about sharing the love of diving, so don’t be shy—come say hi and let’s talk SCUBA!

Instructor, Movie-Inspired and Dive Buddy Extraordinaire

Brent’s fascination with diving all started on the big screen—watching James Bond glide effortlessly through underwater missions. Long before he took his first official plunge, Brent devoured his Open Water manual (twice!) and completed two Discover Scuba sessions just to soak up every bit of dive knowledge he could.

In 1997, he finally took the giant stride into certification—and he’s been hooked ever since.

What Brent loves most about diving now is sharing the experience with others, whether you’re brand new to the sport or a seasoned pro. For him, the magic of diving isn’t just below the surface—it’s also about the laughs, stories, and friendships built both underwater and topside.

Dive Leader, Caribbean Explorer, and Eternal Optimist

Justin has explored dive sites all across the Caribbean, and his passion for the underwater world only continues to grow. Wanting to take things deeper (literally and figuratively), he earned his credentials as both an SDI and PADI Divemaster.

​

When he’s not leading group dives or assisting classes, Justin loves pushing the deeper limits of recreational diving—always with a strong focus on safety and fun. He’s especially great with newly certified divers, helping them build confidence and feel right at home in the water.

​

You’ll usually find him working alongside the Ray Scuba Diving crew, lending a hand, sharing a laugh, and—true to form—rocking a smile you can spot through his mask.

Wreck Explorer, Tech Diver, and Family Dive Guide

 

Despite being allergic to fish (yes, really!), Glenn has fallen head over fins for the underwater world. A seasoned diver and passionate instructor, he’s especially drawn to the silent world of wrecks and rebreathers, where history and marine life collide beneath the waves.

​

As a proud dad of three school-aged adventurers, Glenn is all about helping families dive together—whether it’s a kid’s first underwater breath or a parent earning their certification alongside their teen.

​

Glenn also loves guiding divers beyond the basics. Whether you’re curious about Intro to Tech, Advanced Nitrox, or Decompression Procedures, he’s ready to help you dive deeper, stay longer, and explore safely.

​

Ready to push your limits—or just share the water with your kids? Glenn’s got your back (and probably a backup dive plan too).

Jesse is a highly skilled scuba instructor who brings both expertise and heart to every class. He’s passionate about teaching students of all ages and experience levels, and nothing makes him happier than watching someone take their first breath underwater.

 

Known for his incredible patience and approachable teaching style, Jesse has a talent for making even the most nervous divers feel confident. His students often joke that he has an answer for every single question—and they’re usually right!

 

Whether you’re starting your scuba journey or looking to sharpen your skills, Jesse is the kind of instructor who will walk (or swim) with you every step of the way.​​​​​

Instructor, Underwater Photographer, and Scout Mentor

Kevin’s scuba journey began in 2018, diving alongside the oldest of his two sons—and he’s been hooked ever since. From tropical reefs to local quarries, Kevin loves it all and believes that every dive has a story worth sharing.

​

One of his favorite ways to capture those stories is through underwater photography, using his lens to reveal the magic of the world beneath the surface. As a certified SCUBA Instructor, Kevin finds deep fulfillment in helping others experience the thrill and wonder of the underwater realm for themselves.

​

Beyond diving, Kevin gives back as an Assistant Scoutmaster and SCUBA Merit Badge counselor, encouraging young adventurers to take the plunge and explore the aquatic world with confidence.

​

Whether you're a new diver or a curious Scout, Kevin’s patient guidance and infectious enthusiasm will make you feel right at home—above or below the surface.

Amber began her scuba journey in the summer of 2017, and it was love at first dive. Now a dedicated SDI Divemaster and working toward becoming a PADI Assistant Instructor, Amber brings enthusiasm, heart, and creativity to everything she does underwater.

​

She has a deep passion for working with youth, and is known for creating fun, engaging, and confidence-building experiences for our young divers. Whether she’s guiding a dive or encouraging a first-time snorkeler, Amber knows how to connect, inspire, and lead with joy.

​

Amber is also a talented underwater photographer, specializing in photojournalist-style images that capture the wonder and story of life beneath the surface.
